Broadway at Wooster Accepting Applications for This Summer!

Broadway at Wooster is an elite theatrical experience for exceptional young talent to be a part of Summer at Wooster 2016. This week-long, full-day workshop will include vocal coaching, acting technique and dance master classes, culminating with an original Broadway revue for the public. Broadway at Wooster is for the ambitious, college and Broadway-bound, budding professional, seeking knowledge and craft in an encouraging and safe environment.

Artistic and musical director Claire Simard, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, New York-based stage director Joey Murray, and New York based choreographer Marla McReynolds will share their passion for musical theatre with local, motivated young theatre students and singers entering grades 8-12 looking to gain experience and learn from top professionals in their field, helping to prepare them for school productions, college auditions, and beyond.

Broadway at Wooster will be held on July 11-15 (Monday-Friday) from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The final performance will be on Saturday, July 16, in Wooster School’s, Black Box Theatre.

We are currently accepting applications. In order to give every student individualized attention, we are accepting up to 20 students. Video submissions will be accepted until June 1, 2016.

Please send a video with one musical theatre song to claire.simard@woosterschool.org. Include your resume detailing previous training and performance experience.
