Dr. Frank Hermantin, Redding resident and Danbury Orthopedics specialist, comes to Ridgefield A “top doc” and renowned spinal surgeon

Danbury, CT, February 16, 2012: Frank Hermantin, MD, Medical Director of The Spine Center at Danbury Orthopedics, is one of the area’s leading orthopedic specialists. As a new convenience to patients, he is now offering hours at the practice’s Ridgefield office, at 10 South Street.

A fellowship-trained spinal surgeon, Dr. Hermantin’s goal is to “help patients regain all of their normal function without pain and without surgery.” He treats a larger percentage of his patients non-surgically than any other spine surgeon in the Danbury area. When the solution is surgical, he offers advanced expertise in minimally invasive techniques that help to speed the healing process. Dr. Hermantin performs minimally invasive surgery on a larger percentage of patients than any other spine specialist in the region, including more minimally invasive discectomies and outpatient spine surgeries. He has extensive experience in treating cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis and spinal instability.

Earlier in his career, after completing his fellowship at San Francisco Spine Institute doctor, Dr. Hermantin opened a practice in Delaware. While in private practice, he was voted a “top doctor” by Delaware Magazine. In addition to being an outstanding physician, he is a compassionate member of the medical community. Following the earthquake in Haiti, Dr. Hermantin traveled with a team of volunteer physicians to care for earthquake victims.
