Dan Berta, President of Fairfield County Bank, and Mark Connelly, President and CEO of Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services, presented Glori Norwitt, Chair of the Women’s Center Board of Directors located in Danbury, CT with a $1,750 donation. “We are extremely pleased that through Chubb’s Charity Challenge we are able to support such a great organization,” said Mark Connelly.

The Chubb Charity Challenge invites Chubb agents, brokers and customers to participate in an annual golf outing at the New Haven Country Club. The event allows the golfers to compete for funds to a charity of their choice. Fairfield County Bank Insurance Services selected the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury.

The Center helps with emergency shelter and support services, crisis intervention, primary prevention and training, community education, counseling and advocacy. The Women’s Center was established as a place where the community can gather for support and try to improve their lives. The services they provide are free, completely confidential and are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
