The 2nd Company Governor's Horse Guard open house will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at 4 Wildlife Drive, Newtown.
The event will feature a meet and greet with the horses at noon; a mounted cavalry demonstration and musical ride at 1 p.m.; and a pony ride at 2. There will also be arts and crafts and games for children; face painting; food; music; and an exhibit covering over 200 years of service to the state.
