Grand Weekend at Lime Rock Park promises 3 days of grownup fun!

The first festival for grownups has been created. Grand Weekend Lime Rock Park will offer a civilized festival experience – featuring cars, along with music & comedy, food & drink, and “Grand Living” – when it arrives at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut on July 8-10, 2016. Grand Weekend is co-presented by Smoky Donut Productions and Lime Rock Park.

Grand Weekend will include three days of dynamic programming. Its auto experience includes the chance to test-drive luxury cars on winding country roads and ride along in supercars at triple-digit speeds. Its entertainment programming will offer top-tier music and comedy acts across four stages, high-end food and drink from leading tastemakers, and immersive exhibits from leading brands, ranging from fashion to wellness.

“We’re creating the ultimate weekend escape for adults; a festival where they can kick back, enjoy unique experiences and meet new people,” said Producer Dave Goldenberg of Smoky Donut Productions. “In addition to a great car experience, Grand Weekend will offer some of the best food, drink and live music in the country, at a beautiful venue surrounded by green hillsides.”

Grand Weekend co-founder Roger Garbow is a longtime fan of Lime Rock Park. “Lime Rock Park is a beautiful and historically significant motorsports facility. But Grand Weekend is not just for auto enthusiasts. Consumers will be able to explore and test drive the latest SUVs, luxury sedans, sports cars and convertibles in a relaxed and fun environment without the hassle and stress of the typical automotive shopping experience,” said Garbow.

Lime Rock Park spans an impressive 350 acres. The venue is owned by acclaimed racecar driver Skip Barber and is nestled in the picturesque Litchfield Hills, less than two hours from Manhattan, 2 1/2 hours from Boston, and close to Hartford and New Haven. Known as America’s most beautiful motorsports facility, the park recently completed a multimillion-dollar infrastructure upgrade.

The Grand Weekend production team includes veterans of some of the biggest and most successful automotive, live entertainment and culinary events in the world.

Pre-sale tickets for Grand Weekend’s General Admission and VIP experience will go on sale in February, when the complete line-up is released. Ticket holders must be 21 and over for admission.
