Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company will present LobsterFest 2016 at our main station on Friday, June 10, 5-9 pm, and Saturday, June 11, 4-9 pm.
Tickets are $25 in advance and will be $27 at the door; tickets cover a steak or lobster dinner with sides and a soda or bottle of water. Raw bar, full bar and desserts available for separate purchase.
Children's dinners, with a hamburger or hot dog in place of steak or lobster, and with all sides and soft drink, are still $5.
Live music both nights: Friday will feature the return of Midnight Rodeo, and Saturday will be the SHVF&R LF debut of Rubber City Blues Band.
We will also be raffling a large lobster (usually about 10 pounds) each night ... and yes, we'll help the winner with steaming their winnings.
Tickets will be on sale soon, available at the main station, 18-20 Riverside Road; the Fire Marshal's office, 3 Primrose Street (within Newtown Municipal Center); the office of The Newtown Bee, 5 Church Hill Road; and from all company members.
