The C.H. Booth Library is pleased to partner with the Newtown Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Commission to present a new evening speaker series, to be held monthly on the third Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the library’s Meeting Room.
Presentations will be offered on a range of topics of interest to entrepreneurs, small business owners and others. These programs will provide an opportunity to learn, relax and network; wine and light refreshments will be served.
The first program will be held on Thursday, January 19 on “QuickBooks,” presented by Advanced Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor Laurie Davidian-Smith (pictured). The snow date for this event is January 26. On February 16, PMI-certified management consultant Ira Revels will discuss “Project Management Basics,” with a snow date of February 23.
