This certified 5K run is a unique event open to competitive and non-competitive runners and walkers alike. Kids are welcome to participate in the one-mile Fun Run. We encourage participants to bring their dogs, too. Healthy snacks and drinks will be provided after the race.
The race starts at the War Memorial on Memorial Drive. The course loops through downtown Danbury traveling along Memorial Drive, South Street, and Coalpit Hill Road.
*Your dog wants to please you and cannot tell you when he is tired. For the safety of your dog, please ensure you only run with your dog if he is accustomed to and can complete a 5K run at race speeds.
9:30 AM start for adults running without dogs.
9:40 AM start for adults running with dogs.
