The Newtown Choral Society will present music from La La Land, Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” and other joyous music of the season December 10 at 3:30 pm at The Meeting House, Main Street, Newtown.
Under the direction of Mary Andreotta and accompanied by Susan Anthony-Klein, the concert will include Mel Torme’s The Christmas Song, spirituals, and Eric Whitacre’s Glow. It will conclude with the rousing “Children, Go Where I Send Thee,” a traditional African-American spiritual.
Tickets, available only at the door, are $10, with $8 for seniors and students.
