Mercedes-Benz of Danbury Sponsors Tennis Tournament Today Benefits Ability Beyond

The 2014 Ability Beyond Mercedes-Benz Tennis Event today at Four Seasons Racket Club is a game of LOVE.

Proceeds from this fun day of clinics, social round robin, silent auction, and a cocktail reception will directly benefit Ability Beyond, a leading nonprofit that provides services and programs to individuals with disabilities in Connecticut and New York.

This is the first time Mercedes-Benz of Danbury will sponsor a tennis event which was born of the tremendous success of their popular Mercedes-Benz Golf Tournament.

"We believe in giving back to the community, specifically supporting charities that help people help themselves," said Robert Camastro, owner of Mercedes-Benz of Danbury. "Ability Beyond benefits a large number of people with disabilities and their families right in our own backyard. We support that."

Compliments of Mercedes-Benz of Danbury, two participants will advance to the Mercedes-Benz Sectional Event held at Pinehurst Resort (Oct. 29 – Nov. 2, 2014. . The winning team of the Mercedes-Benz Sectional Event will receive a VIP trip to the 2015 US Open. Participants can also take their shot to hit the "Perfect Serve" for a chance to win a lease on a brand new 2014 Mercedes CLA 250 vehicle.

Ability Beyond, based out of Bethel, CT and Mount Kisco, NY helps over 2,300 people with disabilities each year to live full and independent lives in the community by providing homes, delivering support, offering job training, assistance in finding work – and above all, teaching every person the skills needed to achieve their dreams.
