The Newtown Cultural Arts Commission announced today that the deadline for submissions for their 2014 Grant has been extended to Sept. 1. The Commission will be awarding two grants of up to $1,000 each. One grant will be awarded to an individual artist living in Newtown and one grant to an arts organization based in Newtown.
