"Chappie" will be screened Friday, May 22 through Wednesday, May 27 at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown.
A sentient robot must fight for his right to exist in a futuristic South African society in this action-packed sci/fi thriller. Director Neill Blomkamp's distinct style and gift for story telling make for a compelling and involving adventure.
Screenings will be Friday at 7 and 9:15 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 1, 4, 7 and 9:15 p.m.; Tuesday at 1 and 7 p.m.; and Wednesday at 7 p.m. The theater is closed on Monday, Memorial Day.
