Digging in: A primer on Growing an organic vegetable garden
Prepare a vegetable garden in time for spring planting. Learn basic, tried-and-true techniques for growing popular vegetables and which popular but ineffective garden myths to avoid. Participants will plant a salad container to bring home. Non-refundable $20 materials fee applies. No gardening experience required.
The class is being led by UCONN Master Gardener graduate Michele MacKinnon, an enthusiastic facilitator who favors common-sense approaches over trendy gimmicks.
