Didn't get into the college of your dreams? 344 colleges are still accepting applications!

Any high school seniors out there still in search of a colleges and university to attend this fall?

According to the The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), there are currently 344 colleges still accepting applications from prospective freshman and/or transfer students. Most of these schools are four year institutions and include: Catholic University, Drexel, Hofstra, Holy Cross, Loyola Maryland, Sacred Heart, University of Vermont, and many more.

"If you aren’t happy with any of the schools that you’ve been accepted to, an option is to play the college admission gamble," says Amy Chatterjee, Director of Collegewise in Westport. NACAC Available Openings was released today. This is a list of colleges and universities that still have openings after May 1st for qualified applicants.

"Remember that no college, even that top choice, will be perfect in every way for you.  Selecting a college is a big decision and big life decisions always come with some uncertainty.  You likely won’t be sure you’ve made the right college choice until you get there, eat some dorm food and get lost trying to find a class.  It will be up to you to make your college experience perfect for you," explains Chatterjee.

Check out the NACAC-member colleges and universities that are still accepting applications for Fall 2015 freshman and/or transfer admission. Typically, colleges will continue to join the update after the May 5 public release date, so check back periodically to see additional colleges still accepting applications," NACAC explains.
