Southbury Attorney Tim Moynahan Co-Organizer of NBA Retired Players Assoc. Fundraiser Dinner Feb. 11

Waterbury and Southbury-based attorney Timothy Moynahan, a member of the 1961 Providence College NIT champions, is co-organizer of a dinner on February 11th at Clyde Frazier’s Wine and Dine in Manhattan to raise funds for the charitable work of the NBA Retired Players Association New York Metropolitan Region. "The Dukes of the Dunk” is the evening’s theme which will highlight the most celebrated dunks in New York history including those of John Starks' "The Dunk" over Michael Jordan, Kenny "Sky" Walker and Nate Robinson's NBA Slam Dunk Contest wins, plus more.

The dinner will include a live and on-line auction of sport memorabilia from Steiner Sports and is being co-organized by Moynahan and former Knicks star and president of the NBA Retired Players Association New York Metro Chapter, Tom Hoover. Moynahan stated that his college championship teammates included such luminaries as Johnny Egan and Lenny Wilkens of NBA fame. The Feb. 11 dinner will coincide with the NBA All Star game weekend and provide attendees with opportunities to speak with such NBA Hall of Famers and legends as Moses Malone, Tiny Archibald, Michael Ray Richardson, Dave Bing, Spencer Haywood and others.
