There’s an Event for That!

Ten eldercare experts representing a myriad of concerns from elder law and planning to coordinating transitions from home to assisted living will be available for FREE mini-consultations at Maplewood of Danbury from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, May 20th.

The event is free and open to the public.

The experts are: Ann Fowler-Cruz, elder law attorney from Cohen & Wolf, Joan Gee, a transition coordinator from CT Senior Solutions, Genie Keating, executive director of Maplewood of Danbury assisted living and memory care, Sandra Novella, nutritionist of Ridgefield VNA, Tracy Brady of Visiting Angels home care, Evy Brescia of New England Home Care, Joan Garbow, a geriatric care manager, Lois Morelli of Genesis Glen Hill Health Care Center and Riva Shoshana of Riva’s Rides wheelchair van service.

Each expert is available for FREE 10-minute consultations to answer individual questions and concerns at their own tables so that there is some privacy offered. Each consultation is being offered at absolutely no obligation to the participants.

Tasty hors d’oeurvres, wine and beer will be served. The event is being hosted by Maplewood of Danbury and is being held at their location, 22 Hospital Avenue. Maplewood staff will be available to give tours of the senior living community.
