The Alliance Française of Northwestern CT, in collaboration with

the Southbury Film Commission,

is pleased to present a series of 6 Programs from

Eurochannel's 6th Annual Short Film Tour

August 18 through November 8

The kickoff program “DREAMERS”

will be held on Tuesday, August 18 at 7pm

at the Southbury Public Library 

More than 40 short films will be shown from Eurochannel’s 6th Annual Short Films Tour “Youth in Europe” featuring a rich program of productions showcasing youth, European culture, cinematographic heritage and the art of short films. 

Some films are as short as 5 minutes, others are as long as 30 minutes. lasting approximately 1 1/2 hours to watch all the films in that Program.

In addition to an 11-minute comedy from France (Indian Ocean) titled “Speed Dating,” movies from Denmark, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Turkey will be shown. 

Each movie will be shown in its original language with English subtitles.

Program 2: Outsiders will be on August 28 at 2:30 PM in the Alliance Française Center in Southbury featuring films from France, Belgium, Romania, Switzerland and Spain

Other Programs dates are September 17,

September 25, October 9, October 29 and November 8

All Programs are free, so gather your friends and family and come discover Europe, visit its countries and listen to all its languages…
