The Warren Summer Concert Series presents a free concert featuring Truck Stop Troubadours this Saturday at Warren Woods in Warren from 5:30 - 8:30 pm.
Performing in a retro country style pulling influences from "Sun Records" and the legendary "Bakersfield Sound" covering classics by legends like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yokam, Chuck Berry, Elvis, and Del Shannon to name a few. Their outspoken outlaw attitude is in direct correlation to the slickly produced records coming out of Nashville that have made them "The Thorn" in the side of Modern Country Radio. Their live performance is fresh, full of swagger with an edge. Truck Stop Troubadours are a tried and true "Genuine Country Band". Accept no substitutes for the real deal.
The Warren Church, will have their Annual Chicken BBQ just show up, enjoy the concert and don't worry about dinner!
Warren Woods has become the town’s backyard for the Summer Concert Series. Our concerts are presented by the Warren Parks and Recreation Department and partially funded by a grant from the Connecticut Community Foundation. Although all concerts are free, donations will be accepted and go to fund future concerts
