The Newtown Chapter of the National Honor Society engages in four areas of distinction, as described by the National Honor Society: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. The members, who regularly engage in philanthropic community work, rolled up their sleeves on this chilly Saturday, planting bulbs on the ground of Regional Hospice in Danbury.
"Thank you to the Newtown National Honor Society for your generous donation of tulip and daffodil bulbs and for all of your hard work planting them, along with RHPC volunteers, in the cold today!" Regional Hospice remarked on their Facebook Page.
