Three movies will be screened through Thursday, Aug. 21 at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown
"Maleficent" will be shown daily at 1 p.m. A vengeful fairy places a curse on the daughter of the king who betrayed her and inadvertently sets in motion events that will seal her own fate in this blockbuster summer fantasy from Walt Disney Pictures.
"Earth to Echo" will be screened daily at 4 p.m. An alien from another galaxy who finds himself stranded on planet earth must depend on a group of youngsters for protection and help in returning to his home world in this family sci-fi adventure.
"Edge of Tomorrow" will be shown daily at 7 and 9:05 p.m. An untested army officer finds himself thrown time after time into brutal combat against an alien race bent on conquering the Earth in this fast paced, entertaining, time altering sci-fi thriller. The film, a very underrated summer blockbuster at the box office, features great performances by Cruise and company and has a clever tale to tell.
