The building at 41 Grassy Plain Street in Bethel that once housed Tonelli's is now home to a new restaurant - Parma, which had a successful opening weekend on August 15-17.
A new restaurant, and not just a new name, for those misinformed by the recent News Times article.
"It is not a name change," Parma clarified. "Parma has been a year in the making, and it takes time to create a restaurant that we feel is deserving of Bethel. So when the owners purchased Tonelli's, they just kept it as is, until the Parma concept and menu were ready to launch."
Parma specializes in true rustic Italian food. Getting back to the basics; quality meats and cheeses, traditional fresh made sauces, fresh ingredients, waitstaff that treats you like family.
