"Ghostbusters" will be screened Friday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 30 at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown.
It’s been 30 years since our whacky but lovable parapsychologists first found their calling and set out to save the Big Apple from “things that go bump in the night.” Actually what they really saved on film was a group of very talented actors who immersed themselves in a looney script written by Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Rick Moranis. Brilliantly orchestrated by director Ivan Reitman, the result was a comedy masterpiece. As the boys would say, “We got one.”
Screenings will be Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m.; Sunday through Thursday at 7p.m.; and matinees Saturday at 1 and 4 p.m., and Tuesday at 1 p.m. There will be no Sunday matinee this week.
