Newtown Friends of Music will present a concert by the Johannes String Quartet on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown.
The quartet is violinists Soovin Kim and Jessica Lee, violist C.J. Chang and cellist Peter Stumpf. The program will feature Mendelssohn's String Quartet No. 6 in F minor, Op. 80; Brahms' String Quartet in C minor, Op. 51, no. 1; and Beethoven's String Quartet No. 16 in F Major, Op. 135.
