What's Playing at Edmond Town Hall Dec. 12-19?

"The Good Lie" will be screened Friday, Dec. 12 through Friday, Dec. 19 at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown.

A group of young Sudanese men, refugees from the Civil War ravishing their homeland, arrive in Kansas to start a new life in this emotionally charged drama. Reese Witherspoon costars as an employment agency counselor who finds herself becoming deeply involved in their struggle to assimilate and to stay together. This is a beautifully crafted film about the importance of family and friendship and the triumph of the human spirit over adversity. 

Screenings will be Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:10 p.m.; Sunday through Thursday at 7p.m.; and matinees Friday and Saturday at 1 and 4 p.m., and Tuesday at 1 p.m.
