"The Grand Budapest Hotel" will be screened Friday, Jan. 9 through Thursday, Jan. 15 at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown.
Director Wes Anderson's off-kilter way of looking at the world is brilliantly suited to this zany tale of an old fashioned European hotel struggling to maintain its place in the rapidly changing times between the world wars. This film is considered one of the best films of the year by many film critics.
Screenings will be Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m.; Sunday through Thursday at 7 p.m.; and matinees Saturday and Sunday at 1 and 4 p.m. and Tuesday at 1.
Tickets are $2. Admission to the 7 p.m. show on Saturday, Jan. 10, will be free courtesy of Ingersoll Auto of Danbury. Click here for more details.
