Two movies will be screened Friday, April 10 through Thursday, April 16 at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St., Newtown.
"Paddington" is the hilarious and often heartwarming misadventures of an orphaned Peruvian bear taken in by a proper English family, the Browns. They find themselves delighted or exasperated (depending on which family member you talk to) in this whimsical and enchanting fantasy. Screenings will be Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 1 and 7 p.m.
"St. Vincent," a comedy drama about a young boy's growing friendship with a world-weary hedonistic Vietnam veteran, is a charming and predictably unpredictable delight. Screenings will be Friday and Sunday at 9 p.m.; and Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4 and 9 p.m.
