Fairfield University Tops List of Best Undergraduate Accounting Programs in State

The Accounting Degree Review, an independent and objective resource for current and prospective accounting and finance students, has rated the top undergraduate accounting programs in Connecticut. Topping the list is Fairfield University, a Jesuit liberal arts college located in Fairfield, Connecticut.

"The creation of our top 10 list of best undergraduate accounting programs in Connecticut was formulated by reviewing how each school ranked in websites and publications like BYU, Bloomberg Business, US News and World Report, LinkedIn, Forbes, Princeton Review, TaxTalent, Public Accounting Report (PAR),and College Factual," Accounting Degree Review explains. 

Also considered in the accounting program ranking was the programmatic accreditation of the schools. "All of the schools on our list are regionally accredited, but some have business-specific accreditation as well, the most prestigious being from the Association of Advanced Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)," Accounting Degree Review says.

Second on the list was Sacred Heart University, and number three was University of Connecticut.
