Arts Festival Photos by Maureen Cafarelli at C.H. Booth Library

Marleen Cafarelli’s photographs  from the  first four years of the Newtown Arts Festival (http://www.newtownartsfestival.com/) is the focus of an exhibit at CH Booth Library, Main Street, Newtown. Maureen has been the official photographer of the Newtown Arts Festival since the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission began it in 2012.

The Festival is now in its fifth  year.

Located in the showcase outside the Children’s library, the exhibit, a collaboration between the library and the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission, will be on display August 29- October 5 during regular library hours.

“The exhibit includes some of my favorite photos created with an ‘artsy twist’”, Marleen said. “They are representative of the wonderful creativity shown by so many at the Newtown Arts festivals.”

Along with Marleen’s photos are graphic representations of all the activities occurring in September during the Newtown Arts Festival.
