From Here to Eternity (1953) - 1PM & 7 PM shows at Edmond Town Hall on January 12

On Thursday, January 12, Newtown's Edmond Town Hall will have two special HD screenings of From Here to Eternity (1953), at 1 PM and 7 PM.  The matinee will be subtitled for those with hearing impairment, and tickets are only $3. 

The film won 8 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director for Fred Zinnemann, and Best Supporting Actor Oscars for both Frank Sinatra and Donna Reed.  Montgomery Clift, Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr all received nominations.

This film is sponsored by ESI Global, a multi-level event production company specializing in outdoor music events and festivals.  John Conk, the owner, has been a resident of Newtown since 1991.
