Civil War BBQ & Encampment at Mill Hill on August 17

Who says you can’t combine war and BBQ?

At Mill Hill’s Civil War BBQ & Encampment on Saturday, August 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., guests will be treated to Civil War re-enactments, firing and cannon demos, infantry drills, and more, including music by “The Spirit of Black Rock” Fife Drum Corps and plenty of history at The Flags Exhibit.

Tickets for this history filled event (available at the door) are just $13 for adults (12+), $9 for children 4-11, and FREE for those 3 and under. The ticket includes demonstrations, admission to the exhibit, and food from the American Steak House, New York Bakery, Oak Hills Restaurant on the Green, Overton’s, Simply Delicious Catering, and SoNo Tasty Pies.

Proceeds from this event help to fund the restoration of the Norwalk Riverside Cemetery Civil War Soldiers Monument.
