For their first event of the year, Helpusadopt.org, a New York City based nonprofit organization, has teamed up with alice + olivia, contemporary lifestyle brand designed by Stacey Bendet. alice + olivia has been a supporter of Help Us Adopt for several years, but this is the first time the two have paired up for an event.
Guests will enjoy sips and lite bites while shopping the newest alice + olivia collection at this exclusive before-hours event from 9 – 11 am on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the brand’s 755 Madison Avenue store. 20% of the proceeds will be generously donated to Help Us Adopt's equality-based national adoption grant program, which helps couples and individuals overcome the financial obstacles of adoption so that children can join loving and permanent homes.

Help Us Adopt, founded in 2007, is a national 501c3 financial grant program that helps couples/individuals with the cost of their adoptions by awarding large, life-changing grants up to $15,000. Help Us Adopt remains committed to the concept of equality by supporting all types of families (married couples, single parents, and LGBT couples/individuals), all types of adoptions (domestic, international, foster-care, and special needs), and all types of religions (no statement of faith is required). The organization awards grants three times per year and does not charge their applicants to apply. Since 2007, Help Us Adopt has helped build 189 families by awarding approximately $1.7 million in grant monies.
