Restaurateur Bruno DiFabio and his entire team at Stamford’s popular neighborhood Italian restaurant and gathering place, Amore Cucina & Bar, are gearing up for a very special lunch and dinner service this Monday, April 24 when 100% of the day’s sales will be donated to Susan G. Komen® New England.
“We are so blessed here at Amore, “Says DiFabio, “And we live in a time where everyone has been affected by breast cancer in some way. We want to do our part and use our good fortune to help others.”
For the second year, DiFabio and Susan G. Komen® New England will turn Amore into support central; a place for customers to get together over great food and drink, knowing that 100% of their business will be donated to SGKNE.
Patrons can learn more about the organization, preventative measures, and upcoming events, including the 2017 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® taking place on Saturday, May 6 at Sherwood Island Park in Westport.

About Susan G. Komen® New England
Our mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. Experts estimate that as many as one-third of women dying of breast cancer today could be saved without a single new medical breakthrough. That’s why we take a two-pronged approach: first, ensuring that all people have access to, and receive, timely, high-quality breast cancer care. And second, funding the research that will drive new treatments, and ultimately, the cures. komennewengland.org.
