Tech Fair at Darien Library September 20th

Darien Library staff members will show off their favorite new technologies from drones to 3D printers to Google Glass Saturday, September 20th from 2 to 4 p.m.

Darien Library has four 3D printers that can print anything from delicate pieces of jewelry to miniature Eiffel Towers.

Attendees are invited to discover how the Library’s Digital Media Lab (DML) is a place for shooting video, taking photos, digitizing old home movies, and even going paperless with high speed scanners. Likewise, the SoHo Business Center is equipped with an enormous banner printer -- perfect for work or science fair projects -- and business supplies to stay local while at work.

The Library can help businesses grow, users change careers, and more with their technology educational resources.

Additional parking for evening and weekend Library programs on Thorndal Circle (behind Nielsen’s).
