Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Eagle Hill-Southport is a non-profit, independent, co-educational day school designed for bright and capable students experiencing academic difficulties because of a learning disability. It is an individualized, student-centered program that works to develop a foundation of academic skills and self-advocacy.  The school’s ultimate goal is to remediate a child’s skills, build their self-esteem, and help them transition into a more traditional academic environment.  EHS accepts children between the ages of 7-14 years old who are diagnosed with a language-based learning disability. EHS was founded in 1985 and is located at 214 Main Street, Southport, CT in the historic Pequot School building on Southport Harbor.
