Carlos Hernández Chávez: Dialogues-Impromptu Conversations in Color Art Exhibition Reception

Friday, April 10 Carlos Hernández Chávez: Dialogues-Impromptu Conversations in Color Art Exhibition Reception, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

Hartford-area artist Carlos Hernández Chávez brings a cacophony of color to Wilton Library just in time for spring. Carlos’ work has combined powerful social and political elements with a potent esthetic sense. His art spans three decades and, both physically and metaphorically, it crosses borders, continents and oceans.

A majority of the works will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library.  Reception open to the public. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton; www.wiltonlibrary.org; (203) 762-3950.
