My Sister's Keeper READ TO REEL at the SoNo Branch Library

"Anna is not sick, but she might as well be. By age 13, she has had countless surgeries, transfusions, and shots so her sister, Kate, can fight the leukemia that has plagued her since childhood. Anna was conceived as a bone marrow match for Kate, a life and a role that she has never challenged until now."

Each month will feature a different book and its movie counterpart. Not only will you be able to debate and engage in good conversation about the chosen text, you will be able to sit back and relax as you watch its movie equivalent. The next READ TO REEL title is My Sister's Keeper on Saturday, May 23rd from noon to 3:30p.m.. Participation in both parts of the program is encouraged, but not required. You can also choose to only discuss the book or to only view the film.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is available online or by calling 203.899.2790 ext. 15902. Multiple copies of the book are available at the SoNo Branch Library 10 Washington St.
