Pequot Library's 19th Annual Art Show Preview Party opens on Thursday, October 13, 6 – 9pm. Funds raised provide crucial support for cultural programming and library services. In celebration of National Arts and Humanities Month, Pequot Library has created five days of activities and events for people of all ages. There will be children’s workshops, a Community Art Exhibition, a Plein Air workshop, a Gallery Talk and Reception, and an Artists and Collectors Party – all wrapped up in five fabulous days of fun and fundraising. The Community Art Exhibition is open during regular library hours and is free and open to the public. This year, Pequot Library will be honoring The Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation for its long-term support of the Library.
