Tuesday, May 23 at Wilton Library Get Well, Stay Well: The Skinny on Skin Cancer, 7 – 8:30 p.m. Norwalk Hospital dermatologist Steven A. Kolenik III, MD gives a presentation on skin cancer prevention including risk factors, symptoms, screening, diagnosis, and treatment. He also explains the different types of skin cancer. Dr. Kolenik graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania and received a doctorate from Yale's School of Medicine where he also completed his post-graduate training in dermatology. He is board certified in dermatology and is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, the American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, the Connecticut State Medical Society, and the Fairfield County Medical Association. Program moderated by Wilton Library Trustee Saras Nair, MD who was previously Chairman of the Pathology Department at Norwalk Hospital. No charge. Registration recommended.
