Norwalk, Connecticut - October 11, 2017 - Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN) will conduct free health seminar for members of the Riverbrook Regional YMCA and the community on “News You Can Use for Breast Health.” The seminar will be held at the YMCA Meeting House in Wilton on Tuesday, October 17, from 7 to 8 pm. The featured speakers will be Jeanne Capasse, MD, Surgical Director, Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital, Surgical Breast Cancer Care of Connecticut, Western Connecticut Medical Group, and Mary Heery, APRN, Breast Health Specialist, Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital. They will discuss useful breast health strategies and cancer reduction strategies.
A discussion on the benefits of “Aromatherapy” and therapeutic application of essential oils will take place at the Riverbrook Regional YMCA Meeting House in Wilton on Thursday, October 27, from 11 am to 12 pm. The free program, presented by WCHN, is open to member of the YMCA and the community. The featured speaker will be Peggy O’Shea, RN, clinical leader of the Complementary Medicine Department at Danbury Hospital.
