Dr. Adam Whelchel Addresses Norwalk Land Trust Annual Meeting

Dr. Adam Whelchel, second from left, director of science at The Nature Conservancy, told the annual meeting of the Norwalk Land Trust there is universal recognition that natural infrastructure—wetlands and forests—is a cost-effective, long-term part of the solution to protect people and infrastructure from extreme weather and climate change.

Flanking him, left to right, are NLT directors Vickie Bennett, John Moeling, president of the NLT, and Connie Bennett. At the meeting in the Rowayton Community Center, Rich Baskin, Sarah Graber, Peggy Holton, Charlie Taney and Bob Welsh were re-elected to the Board.
