April Support Groups in Westchester for Women with Cancer

CANCER SUPPORT AVAILABLE:

The following support groups are scheduled in Westchester in April:

AT THE SUPPORT CONNECTION OFFICE IN YORKTOWN:

  • Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support Group: Thurs., Apr. 6, at 10 am.
  • Young Women’s Support Group: For women who have or had breast or ovarian cancer at a young age. Wed., Apr. 12, at 7 pm.
  • Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support Group: Tues., Apr. 11, at 7 pm.
  • Advanced Stage or Metastatic Cancer Support Group: For women living with recurrent, advanced stage, or metastatic breast or ovarian cancer. Fri., Apr. 21, at 12:30 pm.

AT NORTHERN WESTCHESTER HOSPITAL @ CHAPPAQUA CROSSING, CHAPPAQUA:

Breast and Ovarian Cancer Support Group: Wed., Apr. 5, at 7 pm.

AT NY-PRESBYTERIAN HUDSON VALLEY HOSPITAL IN CORTLANDT MANOR:

Breast Cancer Support Group: Mon., Apr. 17, at 7 pm.

BY TELECONFERENCE:

For those unable to attend groups in-person, there are monthly Telephone Support Groups via toll-free teleconference, enabling women to participate regardless of their location and from the comfort of their homes. Call a few days ahead to learn how to participate.

The Advanced Stage or Metastatic Breast Cancer Telephone Support Group will take place on Monday, Apr. 3 at 8 pm (NY time). The Ovarian Cancer Telephone Support Group will take place on Wednesday, Apr. 12, at 8 pm (NY time).

Support Connection, Inc., a not-for profit organization that provides free, confidential support services for people affected by breast and ovarian cancer, offers a wide range of free support groups women with breast and ovarian cancer. Groups focus ontopics pertaining to living with cancer through all stages of diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment. They are offered in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess, and by toll-free teleconference.
