Lawyer/Rocker at Huntington Street Cafe

For the fifth time in as many months, The Dini Band will be appearing at the Huntington Street Cafe on Saturday May 12 at 8 PM.

Leading the band is Fairfield attorney, Vicki Ferrara, otherwise known as “Lawyer by Day, Rocker by Night.” Ferrara has a long-established legal practice at The Law Firm of Victoria Ferrara located at 2150 Post Road in Fairfield. From her many appearances at the Huntington Street Café, interest in the music of Victoria Ferrara and The Dini Band (Beth Bradley on string instruments and Marion Najamy on percussion and drums) has taken on a wider appeal.

They recently played at the Bear and Grill in Fairfield and they will be making their New York City debut at the Bitter End Café on Friday May 25. Ferrara was in the band Troupe DiCoupe in the 80’s playing in New York City and all over New England, notably at CBGB’s, Max's Kansas City, the Knitting Factory, and Ron's Place. She began playing the guitar as a 12-year old at her local church’s folk masses, but found her way into punk rock and onto the CBGB’s stage via her band Troupe DiCoupe.

Ferrara has a “Dini Band” Youtube channel. For a preview of what you will hear at the Huntington Street Café on February 17, go to youtube.com and check out the band’s video, then become a fan. The Huntington Street Café is located at 90 Huntington Street in Shelton, their website is http://www.huntingtonstreetcafe.com. The combination of great food, great beverages, and great music is unbeatable.
