Several copper downspouts were stolen from the Mark Twain Library. It is so sad that our treasure of a library would be defiled like this. The discovery was made last week. No comment could be made by the Redding Police or the library because it is an ongoing investigation.
Beth Dominianni , Library Director, said she was extremely grateful for the Redding Police Dept and Chief Fuchs for stepping up patrols around the library and investigating the theft.
