{REDDING, CT} (February 21, 2012)} – After hosting its first successful Connection Lunch, FemCity Danbury is changing its name to FemCity Fairfield. This move better reflects the members and attendees of recent events, making women around the county feel more welcome.
“We recognize that women in this area are looking for warmer, more modern and unique ways to build their brands, their professional networks and social circles,” said Anne Young Albanese, President of FemCity Fairfield County. “We originally chose to focus solely on Danbury since FemCities aren’t normally counties, but we soon discovered that our group would be better off serving the entire county instead of one small town as there are amazing, successful business women all over Fairfield County and therefore a need for our organization.”
FemCity Fairfield events will be hosted throughout the Fairfield area. Upcoming events are planned in Redding, Bethel, Weston, Wilton, Ridgefield and, of course, Danbury.
All of our events aid in the development of genuine connections while offering an opportunity to take away something, whether it be inspiration, motivation, education or entertainment. Further, each Connection Event will feature an outstanding female guest speaker from our community who will either provide a business lesson, an inspirational story or some combination of the two.
