On Saturday, September 28, the Land Trust of Danbury is hosting a very special event, A Harvest Gathering Gala at Tarrywile.
Beginning at 6 p.m., guests will begin the evening under the stars on the grounds of Tarrywile City Park with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction, followed by the live auction. Then the real fun begins: an elaborate farm to table BBQ meal prepared just for the occasion and dancing to the sounds of Bob O'Connor & Big Trail Bluegrass Band. Vegetarians don't fear; there are plenty of options for a delicious meatless meal.
Think formal and fun... diamonds, denim, black tie and flannel shirt. Hiking boots or cowboy boots are recommended.
