Please join the Bethel Public Library for our fun-packed Movies at the Library series! The next movie on tap is the wildly popular Divergent, so come and enjoy an entertaining evening at the movies in the Maria Parloa Community Room!
The library will host two showings of this movie - one for teens only and the second showing for the general public. The 'Teens Only' event takes place on Wednesday, August 6th from 5 - 8 PM, whereas the General Public showing will happen on Saturday, August 9th from 2 - 4:15 PM. Note to Parents: this DVD is rated PG-13.

Divergent is a science-fiction action-adventure movie based on the best-selling book by Veronica Roth. The story takes place in a dystopian post-apocalyptic version of Chicago where people are divided into distinct factions based on human virtues. Beatrice Prior is warned that she is "divergent" and thus will never fit into any one of the factions and soon learns that a sinister plot is brewing in her seemingly perfect society.
