The Mark Twain Library Presents Film and Discussion: Innovations & Inspirations

Once a month, two bold, brassy sisters open the doors to their hair salon to women diagnosed with cancer. This short, award-winning documentary is a story you’ll never forget. “As locks of hair fall to the floor, women gossip, giggle, weep, face their fears, and discover unexpected beauty.”

After the film, Valerie Schneiderman, owner of the Yoga Shala in Ridgefield, will discuss how she won a grant to help survivors in our community. A representative of The CT Center for Surviorship will discuss resources available to help cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

When: Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Refreshments will be served.

Please reserve a spot online, at the Library, or call 203 938-2545.
