The Big Read of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” is underway in Ridgefield, and the Ridgefield Library is hosting one more lecture in conjunction with program.
Sunday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. is The Big Read’s Keynote Event with Maureen Corrigan, who will speak about her recently released “So We Read On: How The Great Gatsby Came to Be and Why It Endures.” Corrigan is NPR’s Fresh Air book critic, critic-in-residence at Georgetown University, associate editor of and contributor to “Mystery and Suspense Writers,” and the winner of the 1999 Edgar Award for Criticism. Her book “Leave Me Alone, I’m Reading!” was released in 2005.
