"Sounds of the Season:" Jubilate Ringers and Festival Chorus

Music on the Hill presents a traditional Christmas concert of the Jubilate Ringers and Festival Chorus joined by clarinetist Malcolm Dickinson.  The concert will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wilton, 36 new Canaan Road.

The Jubilate Ringers will premiere a Christmas suite of German carols arranged for handbells by Artistic Director Ellen Dickinson, who will conduct.

The Festival Chorus performs selections from the Saint-Saëns Christmas Oratorio as well as traditional carols, both familiar and lesser-known, with Artistic Director David H. Connell conducting.

Pipe organ, clarinet, saxophone, and carols sung with the audience complete this richly-textured “Sounds of the Season” celebration.
