Scrooge! the Musical closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, in which the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes a profound experience of redemption and learns the true meaning of Christmas over the course of a Christmas Eve night. Scrooge is visited by the doomed ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley who, covered in chains, explains to Scrooge that eternal suffering is directly related to greed and bad behavior while on earth, and he warns Scrooge that unless he changes his ways he too will also suffer the same fate. Marley tells him that three spirits would visit him that night. The first one, the spirit of Christmas Past, the second one, the spirit of Christmas Present, and the final one, the spirit of Christmas Yet-to-come. Through reflection and revelation, Scrooge wakes up on Christmas Day a changed man.

Enjoy the well known songs, "Father Christmas," "I Like Life," "December the Twenty-Fifth"and "Thank You Very Much" as you relive this classic come to life.

This beautifully staged production features elegant period costumes, inspiring live music, and a cast of your favorite local talent! A must see for the whole family this holiday season. BE A FAN AND BRING A CAN!

In spirit of the holiday season, please join The Palace Danbury and Musicals at Richter help bring food to the hungry.

The Association of Religious Communities (ARC) has a Food Pantry, Comida, run entirely by volunteers. Last year nearly 4,000 people visited Comida. We're asking that all our patrons bring a canned food item to help fill Arc's food pantry.

This production is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH INC.
